

THE FUTURE OF PICKLEBALL HAS ARRIVED...
The Maryland Pickleball Club Union is a non-profit organization created to bring the local pickleball community together to celebrate the social aspect of the sport in the spirt of friendly competition. Each year, participating club teams of the Union will select teams to compete in the union championships. Clubs can send up to two teams to compete in each division - doubles, mixed doubles, singles, etc. according to age and experience groups. Clubs interested in join may submit and application online www.MPCU.com. Criteria for participation and further information is available online.

THE BASICS...

$350 initial Charter Membership fee. (clubs receive a membership certificate)

$150 Annual Dues. Payable to the Union by January 1 of each year.

Clubs must have submitted their annual dues to be eligible to compete in the annual championship.

Membership allows each club to send up to 2 teams per competition brackets.

Mens Doubles (ages Under 18, 19-39, 40-59, 60+)
Womens Doubles (ages Under 18, 19-39, 40-59, 60+)
Mixed Doubles (ages Under 18, 19-39, 40-59, 60+)
Mens Singles (ages Under 18, 19-39, 40-59, 60+)
Womens Singles (ages Under 18, 19-39, 40-59, 60+)
Wheelchair competition all genders and ages

Additional awards will be presented to club teams who during the championships scored the most points and allowed the fewest points during the competition.

Winning teams will be presented with awards to be determined by the Union.

Teams and the participant names must be selected and submitted to the Union office no later than Jan 1 to be eligible to compete.

The Union will decide the location of the annual competition to be held at a local indoor facility in January of each year.

There is no additional costs for club teams to participate in the annual championships.

All participating clubs in any Union event must wear matching uniforms with their approved club logo clearly visible on the front and or back of the uniform. A photo of the uniforms must be submitted for approval before any club can compete in any Union sanctioned event. The union reserves the right to deny club participation until a uniform is approved by the Union board.
