The Maryland Pickleball Club Union was created to promote the growing sport of Pickleball in Maryland. Clubs are created from social play groups by establishing a club name, insignia, and the appointment of a club president for representation in the Union congress. Club membership is free, and is required to participate in sanctioned club events and tournaments. 

Each year a Club Union Championship competition will be held to crown the best club teams in a variety of skills and age brackets.
